The first of its kind in the beverage machinery sector was held by Samixir, Turkey's leading brand, and natural beverage producers came together at the summit, where 2023 was evaluated and 2024 targets were discussed in detail.
Speaking at the organization, Samixir Chairman of the Board of Directors Mehmet Ali Kakşi explained Samixir's starting point with the words, "In light of our accumulated knowledge and experience in maintenance and repair, original spare part stock and supply, customer relations, and qualified workforce, we started manufacturing beverage machines in 2010, prioritizing quality domestic production and customer satisfaction." He stated that Samixir currently offers solutions to many businesses in the Horeca sector with its 2,500 m² production facility, 50 employees, and over 200 product varieties, and that they will continue to meet the demands of their business partners who produce natural beverages in the best way possible.
Samixir General Manager Seçkin Kakşi made important assessments about the future of the beverage sector. Kakşi said, “As you all remember, 20 years ago, there were days when powdered drinks without fruit content were heavily advertised and sold. With the awareness-raising activities that occurred afterwards, powdered drinks were replaced by natural drinks - as it should be. As consumers' awareness increases, the demand for the market will continue to increase.
If we organize on how to meet the demands, we will both support the growth of the market, strengthen the future potential of natural drinks and fulfill our responsibility to society.”
Kakşi also mentioned the R&D investments they made as a company and added that in 2024, products will be produced in a way that will increase customer satisfaction with the arrangements to be made depending on automation. In general, all participants at the summit stated that the sector has an upward expectation. It was shared at the summit that the demand increased with the awareness of the end consumer and that investments grew both in OOH (out-of-home consumption) and retail. In addition to the promotion activities in national and local chains, studies will be carried out on the retail side to offer natural lemonade to homes. The summit ended successfully, where 2023 general evaluations, 2024 goals, sectoral cooperation steps were discussed and the participants expressed their satisfaction with this prestigious organization, the first of which was held.
